thank you - second try didn't work for me - but not a big deal - if you send them out after - great - and if not, we can go to the website and download them after the presentation once posted - I will prob want watch this one again.
Dylan Anderson
01:10:37
What is the plan for youth? Those 2 and older?
Ko Min
01:11:25
Wait, so if these events (deaths) were to be expected, using the same logic then these older people were expected to die regardless of COVID. CDC is currently using the definition of a death as dying of any cause within 30 days of testing positive for COVID. Should we not now use the same definition to determine if the COVID vaccine death rate?
Christine Russell
01:11:39
Can we talk a little about populations with disabilities? Do we even have enough data to say anything?
Holly Holland
01:11:41
One thing people tell you is that the vaccine will change my DNA.
Belinda Rogers
01:11:44

bernadette McClair
01:12:06
What are the allergic reactions? I think that its important to know what those are and also you mention the comorbidities but are those listed and documented and in those participants and persons getting sick did they have anything that compromised their immune system? The vaccine doesnt protect you from getting the vaccine correct? 30 million have been vaccinated- of the 30 million how many have had side effects? Sicker and sicker communities? who are those? And if they are and were going to have an heart attack anyway? Maybe if you feel that age group is at risk for heart attack maybe treat them different before this happens? I dont think thats fair to say? Maybe treat the disease and the patient. So why is it that some testing sites wont give you the shot if you have Lupus or severe allergic reactions.
Mary Madison
01:12:31
EXCELLENT presentation!!
Heather Williams
01:12:39
Great point here because we are not hearing about the "normal" death rates for all ailments across the board. It seems that most deaths are labeled COVID rather than the natural disease progress that takes place with patients.
Robert Clouatre
01:14:00
Is there any benefit or risk of getting both the J&J and the Pfizer?
Karissa Jarnagin
01:14:29
AGree - excellent information as a nurse and as someone who has been giving vaccinations! Thank you!
bernadette McClair
01:14:29
that should be shared when there is a public announcement when it comes to the importance to the virus. Thanks for stating that information
nicki crippen
01:14:48
why is a person’s natural response to having covid not enough to create antibiodies? Ie. why do you need the vaccine after you have already gotten the virus?
Sonita Oldfield-Carlson
01:15:06
Yes: is there benefit to having dose of both mRNA and adenovirus types?
Ko Min
01:16:05
None of the RNA vaccines have been previously been approved. There was a lot of recent research on both the adenovirus and RNA vaccines for HIV vaccines and they were not effective.
Shirley Knudsen
01:17:37
if have history of severe anaphylaxis with many foods and environment, is it possible to take a half vaccine dose every two weeks for 4 doses?
Heather Williams
01:19:43
I wondered about the previous mRNA vaccines that have not been approved??? Why is this vaccine effective and the previous vaccines not?
bernadette McClair
01:19:54
It would be great if health care system would provide in regards to how the COVID vaccine and the awareness and important care would cover the fact that systemic racism, biases, discrimination, racial profiling, inequalities, inclusion that affect the entire community
Leo Bekker
01:20:06

Is there any concern about people who have been identified as COVID "long haulers" getting the vaccine?
Deborah Smith
01:21:36

Susanne Curtis
01:21:38
I'm so glad you did this! Great information! Thank you!
Angel Johnson
01:22:06
Considering the mRNA diminishes within days, as you mentioned earlier. Does that make the 2 vaccines that require 2 doses very short lived (i.e. they don't last very long)?
Patty Smith
01:22:09
Is there increased incidence of testing positive for covid, after you have received the vaccine?

Mandy Plate
01:22:27
Is there any sort of data of how long the vaccine is effective for a given person? If not, when will that data be available?
Heather Williams
01:22:34
Have you seen studies that express how long the efficacy might last for those who have been exposed to COVID and those who have received the vaccination? Can you give us a general timeline in what to teach our patients?
Yvonne Bennett
01:22:52
thank you
Michele Mason
01:22:53
Please do answer earlier question, can we combine both J&J and Pfizer for combo approaches
sbentley
01:22:53
Thank you so much Dr. Mehta!

01:22:56
Excellent presentation, although I have received both Moderna shots, I definitely feel better about having my elderly mother get the vaccine and promote it in my community.

elisha grant
01:24:00
Did I miss it, I have been told that even if vaccinated you can be a carrier and spread the virus in the begging, is this true?
PAMELA COZORT
01:24:16
Thank you was a very good presentation.
christina jiardina
01:24:21
Will the vaccine be a long ternm vaccine or will it have to be given yearly?
Carol Lopez
01:24:38
Is this presentation recorded so it can be reviewed later?
jennifer golle
01:24:46
I'm interested also in how long the immunity remains post vaccine - however expect everyone's still learning on that - but if you have info., please share. Also, can you talk about how long immunity lasts after positive covid dx? I agree excellent presentation - new information in the mix of all we have had - many are interested in the actual science of it all. I would like to know more about vaccine roll out. My state was supposed to go into 1b yesterday but NO ONE had the vaccines - and no public announcements, etc.
Stephen Thompson
01:25:19
Excellent presentation, thank you Dr. Mehta. Question: once a person is vaccinated with both doses of Pfizer or Moderna, can they still carry and/or transmit covid-19 to others?
Dick Michael
01:25:47

Is there a reason why there were so any statistically relevant anaphylactic responses in California? They stopped giving shots from that batch. Are there preservatives in the shot?
